Wyss Geneva welcomes Wolf-Julian Neumann to its Leadership Team
We are pleased to announce the appointment of Wolf-Julian Neumann as Head of AI Innovation and Therapeutic Neurotechnology.
Wolf-Julian Neumann brings more than 15 years of experience at the intersection of neuroscience, artificial intelligence, and clinical innovation. His work focuses on developing AI-driven neurotechnologies that translate brain signals into actionable clinical insights and therapeutic interventions, supporting the development of scalable and personalized treatments for neurological and psychiatric disorders.
Prior to joining Wyss Geneva, he held a professorship at Charité – Universitätsmedizin Berlin, where he led research in implantable neurotechnology and brain signal decoding in close collaboration with clinical teams. His work spans the full translational spectrum, from early-stage research to clinically deployable systems.
At the Wyss Center, he will lead efforts to integrate AI with clinical neuroengineering, further strengthening the organization’s mission to transform brain health through precision therapies.
