Professor Sven Haller works on advanced neuroimaging techniques with a focus on dementia and neurodegenerative and neurovascular diseases, including clinical studies. He has published more than 140 scientific articles and book chapters and has received several distinctions including the Lucien Appel Prize, the Founders Award of the ESNR. He was twice awarded the Swiss Society of Neuroradiology prize, as well as the Swiss Society of Radiology prize and the German Society of Neuroradiology prize
In parallel to his MD from the medical school of the University of Tübingen, Germany, he also completed a Master of Sciences at the Max Planck research school of neural and behavioral sciences, Tübingen, Germany. He specialized in radiology and diagnostic neuroradiology at the University Hospital of Basel, Switzerland. He then became Assistant Professor in Neuroradiology at the University Hospital Geneva, Switzerland.
He is currently a Neuroradiologist at CIMC Geneva, Switzerland and a visiting associate Professor in Uppsala Sweden, Beijing China and Cairo Egypt.
