Roma Vuarier joined the Wyss Center as Chief Financial Officer in January 2020, and was appointed Head of Finance & Administration in February 2024. She works alongside scientists, engineers, clinicians, and business innovators to overview the Center’s support functions, such as finance, administration,  human resources, legal, IT and quality.

Prior to joining the Wyss Center, she held a position of Accounting and Reporting Manager at the headquarters of STMicroelectronics in Geneva and Audit Manager at EY (Geneva and Warsaw).

Roma obtained her MSc in both Economics and Law and her PhD in Economics from the University of Gdansk (Poland). She is also a Fellow Chartered and Certified Accountant and a Certified Internal Auditor.
