Karol Wojcicki, BSc
Engineering Lab Technician
Karol has over six years of experience in the development of analytical imaging instrumentation and four years of experience in managing research and development laboratories.
Karol Wojcicki joined the Wyss Center as an Engineering Lab Technician in May 2022.
He is responsible for all lab equipment, its maintenance and calibration as well as fabrication of concepts, custom test fixtures and bench testing.
Before joining the Wyss Center Karol worked in various roles within the imaging team at Malvern Panalytical. He greatly contributed to development of the laboratory analytical instrumentation used for particle characterization by mechanical design, prototype development, testing and evaluation. Karol was part of a team who developed the Morphologi 4 system that uniquely combines automated, static imaging with Raman spectroscopy in a single, integrated platform. The same system received the IF Design Award of 2018 in the scientific instrument category.
Karol received his Bachelor’s degree in Mechanics and Machines Building in Computer Aided Manufacturing from the University of Technology, Kielce (Poland) in 2007.
