Karissa Humailo

Karissa Humailo is currently undertaking an internship as part of the NeuroGI project at Wyss Geneva.

She has joined the NeuroGI team to further explore the function and morphology of the enteric nervous system, especially in the context of disorders of the gut-brain interaction. She is also part of the MSc in Neurosciences at the University of Geneva and holds a Psychology Bachelor from Université de Toulouse with a specialization in Cognitive and Neuropsychology during which she studied the effects of nutrition on brain development and cognitive performances.
