Jonathan Grobéty is the administrative assistant at the Wyss Center for Bio and Neuroengineering in Geneva, Switzerland. In this role, he focuses on assisting with the planning and execution of internal events, monitoring and ordering office supplies, make travel arrangements for the Center’s staff and provide general administrative support as required.

Jonathan holds a commercial federal capacity certificate, his choice of undertaking this route was mostly motivated by his fascination with the administrative world and to complement his fondness for languages.

Following completion of his apprenticeship, Jonathan did a handful of stints as a temp in order to identify the work environment that suited him best. It was through a 2-month mission at CERN that he discovered a fascination with science and this led to his decision to be a part of the scientific world longer-term.
