Denis Rambaud joined the Wyss Center as an Electronics Engineer for MedTech Devices in May 2023. He participates in all phases of medical device development for electrical components, including the creation of user and design input requirements, detailed design and test method development, and design verification.

He previously worked 8 years at Electro Medical Systems where he was part of the development team of a rigid lithotripter that was brought to the market where it is still very successful. Denis took part in many other developments, sustaining and registration activities for urology and pain therapy devices. More recently he supervised the feasibility of a high-power laser for stone management. Before that he did a master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, specializing in microelectronics at the Université Lyon 1, concluded by an internship in Airbus in Toulouse.
