Clémence Hurni joined the Wyss Center in March 2022 as a Staff Scientist in Transcriptomics. She is developing new 3D spatial transcriptomics technologies in the Neurobiology lab.
Clémence studied Life Sciences and Technologies at EPFL, Switzerland. She pursued with a PhD in Biotechnology and Bioengineering, where she combined RNA-seq and microscopy imaging to model spatio-temporal RNAs localization in the circadian context. Prior to joining the Wyss Center, she worked at Lunaphore Technologies (Switzerland), where she optimized spatial transcriptomics assays and acquired expertise in spatial biology.
