Bertrand Gabry joined the Wyss Center in May 2024 as V&V Manager. He will manage verification and validation activities of the Wyss Center projects ensure the safety, the performance and reliability of the medical devices, the compliance to the with regulatory standards. He will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and provide pragmatic and effective protocols, while adhering to regulatory standards and medical devices best practices.

Active in the medical devices area for over 20 years, involved in innovative and complex medical devices projects, Bertrand acquired experience and expertise in design control,  manufacturing, and regulatory requirements, including US regulation, EU MDR, hardware compliance, QMS, and validation process.

Bertrand holds a Materials Sciences and  Engineering PhD a MSC in Mechanics from the University of Franche-Comté from the University of Bourgogne.

He started as a Metrology Laboratory Manager for railway sector, then Quality Engineer and Control in automotive area, before joining Valtronic in 2004 as QA/RA Manager and in 2011 as VP Spine Business Unit Manager . In 2014,  Bertrand gave a new orientation to his career by running his own company by proposing Engineering and Consulting services for Medtech actors.
