Linda Kadi, PhD

Business Development Manager
Combining a background in neuroscience, drug development, translational research, project management, business development and fundraising, Linda is delighted to use her skills to bring innovative solutions to patients.

Linda Kadi joined the Wyss Center as Business Development Manager in January 2022. Her role is to ensure the translation of the most mature assets of Wyss Center portfolio to the market level through a wide range of activities including the implementation of business development strategy, risk assessment as well as facilitating the interactions between Wyss Center researchers and third parties such as industry and faculty partners.   

Linda holds a PhD in Biology from the University of Geneva (2006) working mainly on identifying new roles of chemokines in nervous system inflammation and myelin repair and pursued academic research at the hematology department of CHUV Lausanne as a postdoctoral fellow. In 2011, she completed her education by performing a dual certificate of advanced studies (1) In Management of Biotech Medtech and Pharma Ventures at EPFL and (2) In clinical Research at the Faculty of Medicine of the university of Geneva. 

Before joining the Wyss Center, Linda worked as a scientific analyst for a US venture capital firm to evaluate the investment opportunities and prior to that she worked in the pharmaceutical company Debiopharm International SA (Lausanne) where she had several roles including scientific and business evaluation of innovative therapeutic opportunities, and the development of innovative therapeutic programs from preclinical up to early clinical stage in the field of Oncology and CNS.
