Jade Nguyen, PhD

Research Scientist in human brain tissue labeling and mapping
2204 Wcportrait 003
Jade is interested in the development of specific brain tissue tags to improve the understanding and treatment of diseases. Above all, she enjoys working in a multidisciplinary team.

Jade Nguyen joined the Wyss Center as a Research Scientist in human brain tissue labeling and mapping in April 2022. She is developing novel labels enabling multiplex tissue profiling, mapping with molecular markers and applying techniques to healthy and diseased tissues to elucidate disease mechanisms.

Jade holds a MSc in Chemistry from ETHZ. She continued with a PhD in Chemical Biology at ETHZ and a short postdoc at EPFL, where she developed chemical biology tools to induce and study redox stress responses in living human cells using synthetic chemistry, fluorescence imaging as well as cell and molecular biology.
